Co-curricular activities (2018-19)
Co-curricular activities are the components of non-academic curriculum, helps to develop various facets of the personality development of the students. For all-round development of the student, there is a need of emotional, physical, spiritual development that is complemented and supplemented by curricular activity. Observing this, our institution organized following co-curricular activities in 2018-19.
NSS
The objective of National Service Scheme is to increase levels of social consciousness by getting students involved in activities that address individual and community. In 2018-19, approximately, 115 students enrolled themselves as volunteers. Following is the list of NSS programes, organized during 2018-19 session:
FIVE ONE DAY CAMPS :

Celebration of “International Ozone Day”. On that day, an essay competition was organized on “CLEAN GANGA AND OTHER RIVERS” theme by NSS volunteers.

Under this compaign NSS volunteers cleaned campus and nearest village.

AWARENESS ABOUT HIV ADIS THROUGH RALLY IN MARKET AREA
The NSS unit of our college organized an awareness rally about contagious disease AIDS.In this activity 115 volunteers actively participated.

AWARENESS RALLY ON ENVIRONMENT (UNDER ISPERSH GANGA ABHIYAN)
The rally started from institute and went through the market.In this rally ,115 NSS volunteers and staff members actively participated.
SEVEN DAY RESIDENTIAL CAMP:
The NSS Unit of institution organized a seven days residential camp at Salana,the venue of the camp was GOVT.PRIMARY SCHOOL SALANA.In this camp total over 50 volunteers actively participated.During this camp the volunteers cleaned the nearest villages. They awared the public about harmful diseases(such as HIV AIDS,CANCER) ,use of polybags, side effect of smoking etc through their rallies, poster/slogans.
RED RIBBON CLUB:
RED RIBBON CLUB was organiged as a unity under NSS.In this club 24 students actively participated.On dated: 01/dec/2017, the club organized a rally on “INTERNATIONAL ADIS DAY “and on dated: 28/3/2016 the club ,organized a workshop on ” Benefits Of Blood Donation”.

A Debate competition was organised on “Article 356: President rule” topic.
